This site by Graham Jaunay has three online databases designed for accessing details on vessels, and emigrants, arriving in South Australia. They include:

• 1836 to 1840 emigrants who applied for free passage but did not take up the offer - Names 2,818 labourers who applied for free passage 1836-1840 but never took up on the offer
• 1836 to 1841 and 1847 to 1886 vessels that brought assisted emigrants to the Colony - Names the 749 vessels (not passengers) which brought assisted emigrants to the Colony 1836-1886.
TIP: Use this database in conjunction with State Records of South Australia Passenger List Search. Enter the ship’s number (eg 62/2) from a State records search to find the name of the ship which is not listed on the State Records search.
