Legacy is a popular program for Windows that comes in two editions. The Standard edition is free to download and is a fully functional version that contains the core features of the original program with no strings attached. Extra features such as GPS mapping, wall charts, DNA recording and more are available if you upgrade to the Deluxe edition. Legacy Family Tree is certified for FamilySearch Family Tree. This means you can now share your Legacy information with FamilySearch Family Tree and of course pull information from Family Tree into your Legacy family file. In August 2017 MyHeritage acquired the Legacy Family Tree Software and Webinar Platform.
