Public Record Office Victoria – Passenger records and immigration. These consist of consist of inward and outward passenger lists. They include:
• Assisted British Immigration 1839-1871. The online index search links to the original passenger lists.
• Unassisted Passenger Lists 1852-1923. Lists passengers from British, Foreign and New Zealand Ports. The online index search links to the original passenger lists.
• Outward Passenger Lists to Interstate, UK, NZ and Foreign Ports 1852-1923. The online search links to the original passenger lists.
• Coastal passenger lists 1852-1923.  Lists the names of passengers travelling to Victoria from other ports within Australia. The online search links to the original passenger lists.
• Ships’ crew 1852-1922 details merchant ships’ crews. The records cover a variety of locations and crew activities, including discharge, desertion, payment and release. There is an Search Form and some records are digitised.
