The National Library of Australia – eResources – Ireland

The eResources page offers free home access to 119+ subscription databases. This free service is available to anyone residing in Australia who has a National Library card. You can apply for a library card online from this site. The card will be mailed to you within 5-10 working days. Then you use the number on your library card and surname to login. Then click on the Licenced resources to access the databases. Irish resources include:
• Bibliography of British and Irish History – from 55BC to the present
• Dublin Castle Records 1798-1926
• 19th Century British Library Newspapers. Irish titles include:
Belfast News-Letter 1828-1900
Freeman’s Journal 1800-1802
Freeman’s Journal and Daily Commercial Advertiser 1807-1900
• JSTOR a multi-disciplinary archive of scholarly material.
• Irish Newspaper Archives 1738-current (56 titles)
