The War Graves Photographic Project

The original aim of The War Graves Photographic Project was to photograph every war grave, individual memorial, Ministry of Defence grave, and family memorial of serving military personnel from WWI to the present day. This aim has been extended to cover all nationalities and military conflicts and make these available within a searchable database. The project is now working in conjunction with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and other agencies. Currently there are 1,756,586 names in the archives. Photos are displayed online and copies can be purchased from the site for a small fee.
