Australasian Federation of Family History Organisations

The Australasian Federation of Family History Organisations (AFFHO) is the umbrella organisation for family history societies in the region. AFFHO was established in 1978 to coordinate and assist the work of Australian and New Zealand groups with interests in family history, genealogy, heraldry and related subjects.

Publications include an Australasian Really Useful Information leaflet which can be downloaded as a PDF file. It focuses on how to research your ancestors if you live in Australia and includes a long list of websites and a how-to guide. It also lists family history societies that can help with your research.
