It holds 40+ million items. Records are held for defence service personnel, merchant seamen, 20th century passenger arrivals, displaced persons, naturalisation and much more. Records can be accessed using RecordSearch the collection database. It offers a Basic search; Advanced search plus NameSearch, PhotoSeach, Passenger arrivals and Newly scanned records.
