National Library of Australia – eResources

The National Library of Australia eResources offers free home access to 212+ subscription databases to all residents of Australia. You need a National Library card and you can apply online. The card will be mailed to you within 5-10 working days. You then use the number on the card and your surname to login using the black box, top right of screen.  For access use the National Library’s main page scroll down and select eResources > Browse eResources > Browse by Category > Licenced Resources (212 items). There is a wide variety of resources available including books, journals, newspapers and much much more.

Times (London) Digital Archive 1785-2009
TIP: Use the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age (Melbourne) in conjunction with the Ryerson Index and Trove Digitised Newspapers which has these papers to 1954.
