Outback Grave Markers – Western Australia

A project to preserve the outback history of Western Australia. Outback Grave Markers is a group of volunteers who travel to remote places to place an engraved plaque on the grave site after researching its history. The project has gained support from many people and the Four Wheel Drive clubs and Track Care WA have been of great assistance in providing incentive to expand and work with similar groups caring for the Outback in different ways. There is access to:
• Burial Search – Explore the database and discover who was buried at Outback Graves. If the grave site is known you can view a photograph and see its location on a map
• Interactive Map – Use the integrated mapping to locate markers all over the state
• Newsletters – The newsletter ‘Gravely Speaking’ is online
