By Armistice Day on 11 November 2018, the objective is to ensure every fallen hero from across the Commonwealth is remembered individually by those living today. A total of 1,117,077 service personnel from the British Empire died in the war 1914-1918. &lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;The Every One Remembered database allows people to commemorate relatives or someone they knew, or find a person for whom no-one has yet left a tribute such as a poppy or a few well-chosen words. The people being remembered came from the United Kingdom and the British Empire which included Africa, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, South Africa and the West Indies.
